Will the Chameleon Clamps fit my chuck?
Chameleon Clamps are compatible with most common generic CNC lathe chucks. We currently offer them in 8-inch and 10-inch sizes (with 6 inch and 12-inch versions coming soon).

Can I machine my own profile into the blanks?
Yes. You can machine a custom profile into a Chameleon Clamp soft jaw blank, the same way you can any standard CNC soft jaw.
The blank indexes at 90-degree increments and slots straight back into the Chameleon Clamp. This means you can cut up to four custom profiles into a single blank.
What is included in the Chameleon Clamp Starter Kit?
The Chameleon Clamp Starter Kit contains everything you need to get started, including:
- 1 x set of Chameleon Clamps
- 3 x Grub Screws
- 2 x sets of 20mm Blanks
- 1 x set of 35mm Blanks
- 3 x T-Nuts with Bolts
The Starter Kit is currently available in 8-inch and 10-inch chuck sizes.
What is the repeatability of the Chameleon Clamp?
Tiger Jaws CNC Chameleon Clamps deliver 0.0025mm (2.5 micron) repeatability per jaw.
Every single set of Chameleon Clamps is verified on a CMM machine before leaving the Tiger Jaws facility in Australia.
What material is the Chameleon Clamp made from?
Chameleon Clamps are precision machined from K1045 medium carbon steel. Strong, durable, and well suited to the demands of CNC workholding and precision machining, every Chameleon Clamp is manufactured in Australia under ISO-certified processes.
